I am so happy!

My birthday went pretty well. uneventful but that is fine with me, as I do not always enjoy others company.

I had cake and the boyfriend unit brought me home flowers, purple daisies.

I also got happy birthday greeting from my mom, dad and sister. I will be going over there today because I have a few W-2 forms to pick up for tax purposes.

I will also be wishing my youngest brother a happy birthday, he's turning 11 tomorrow.


We are seven years and a day apart, which may be why we are so close. 11 years of shared birthdays will do that to you.
And thank you all for the happy birthday wishes, I really need to start blogging again. Tumblr and Fan fiction have seemingly taken all my attention.

Also for any rise of the guardians fans, if you would like me to post my fan fiction on here or give you a link let me know.

as for those who have not seen it. I will be posting a review of the movie soon.

Just came up with that thought, seeing as it is my current fandom obsession.

Seriously how can you not love a movie with a 6 foot tall talking rabbit?

I love him so much.

But how can you not love Sandman and his dream sand?

It's been inspiring my artwork lately

But all the girls who saw this movie saw it for him. ^_^

Just to let y'all know. I don't really know what I'm doing...I will post pictures of them if something eventful happens. :)

Tagged By Odd Ghoul Out

I've been tagged by Odd Ghoul Out who has awarded me with the:

So I  must now list Five odd habits of mine. Hopefully this will get me out of my blog-neglect. :)

So with that here are some very odd things I do out of habit.

1) I eat shrimp without taking off the tails first. Don't judge I like the crunch it gives when I eat it.

2) I bite my nails. It's one of my more nervous habits. I think it's because of my family, all the yelling and verbal abuse gave me some nervous tendencies.

3) I wiggle my nose when I'm thinking intently. My Boyfriend says it's part of my "Bunny" Habits

4) I tend to walk on the balls of my feet when I walk barefoot, which is a common occurrence. I've heard it is actually much better for you to do this. No harm, no foul

5) I chew on the sides of my mouth when I'm bored.

Now that you know about some of the tiny little things I do, hopefully my next post won't be so far away from this one!

Geek Goths (a.k.a Nerd Goth)

All Goth have their moments of geeky-ness. We freak out over our favorite shows, book authors and many more.

So it came to no surprise to me that there is a subset of goth that was all about being a geek and being a goth.

Geek Goths have refined their geekery into an art form.

 They may not place as much of an emphasis on fashion as other Goth subsets. they can mainly be seen wearing a pair of black jeans and a black T-shirt featuring band logo's,  a dragon or flaming skull, or a witty slogan or Internet meme reference.  Three Wolf Moon are the general uniform for geeky Goth guys, probably paired with long hair, a Celtic pendant and some basic black boots.

Geek Goth girls may dress in a similar fashion, a black skirt or jeans and sprinkle on a little eyeliner and extra bit of jewelery.

 Geek Goth's seems to be a fashion style created from the combination of Goth fashion and geek chic. they have some similarities with emo fashion such as argyle prints,bow ties, multicolored layered haircuts, faux glasses, baseball boots and accessories such as studded belts, Suspenders, rubber bracelets.

When not playing RPG's or MMORPG, most Geek Goths can be seen at Renaissance  festivals or Conventions of any sort.

Most Geek goths tend to pay lots of attention to how they look than is typically considered of geeks. however this isn't always the case but the dramatic Gothic flair is often seen. 

Music typically listened to by these goths are Voltaire, Un-invited Guest and other geek friendly bands such as Siouxie and the Banshee's, The Cure, the GothSicles and pretty much anything they find they like.

New Year's Resolutions

So, after seeing many of these blogs on my dashboard this week. I finally decided to pick up my laptop and type out my New Year's resolutions.

1) Become a Vegetarian.

I have always had a very sensitive stomach. I tend to be particularly sensitive to certain types of meat such as ham, chicken, beef. so I decided to become a Pescatarian, a vegetarian who eats fish and shell fish but no other meat.

2) Stop Caring about others opinion of me.

Lately I have found I care a little too much about whether or not people will think I am "a Poser" or not. I decided to dress and wear what I want and not give a damn if it is goth or not, add my own little twist on things and if people say something just smile and keeep walking.

3) Exercise to feel good about myself

Instead of exercising  for a low weight I decided to exercise just to feel good and improve my mood

 4) Develop my empathy

I have recently discovered I am an Empath, a person who can sense other peoples emotions, So I want to take the necessary steps to learning to control my empathy and my own emotions better.
